How are you living your life?

Do you let your life's seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months or years just waste by?

What takes up your time?

We all know time is limited, yet we choose to occupy it with meaningless things such as:

  • Stressing over life's problems

  • Fear of the unknown

  • Lack of motivation

  • Anxiety

  • Scared of taking risks

This list can go on and on and for many, it'll vary of the meaningless things we tend to waste our time on. Sure, we will always come across these (whatever your list may be); but its how you choose to then proceed after that matters here. We need to remind ourselves that things won't always go our way but that we need to be willing to make space for whatever comes up and to still keep going on the path for success. When you are not afraid to acknowledge all facets of yourself; they lose their ability to hold you back. It's our judgment of the fear, and not the fear itself, that keeps us stuck living a life of repetition. Be mindful of the energy you give and receive. Recognize that when it comes to looking ahead in life. Start off small and work your way up.

Life is not meant to be easy. Life is meant to be lived. Sometimes happy, other times it can be rough...but every up and down that comes your way will bring you lessons to be learned, that'll then make you stronger and better for it.

Don't allow yourself to get stressed or lost in worry and anxiety when obstacles arise.

Instead, take a deep breath, and remember that for every problem, there is a solution.

It'll require faith, hope, and creativity to find that solution.

  • the faith that you are strong enough to conquer the problem that you face

  • the hope that there is a way out

  • the creativity to find a way around the problem

You may not always have control over everything that happens in your life but you do always have control over your own mindset and the perspective of life itself.

You can choose to think down of yourself when something bad happens, or you can decide to see that you are being set up for something greater to come along your way.
You can choose to focus on all the chaos happening around you, or you can choose to look for the good in the situation.
You can choose to live in a state of victimhood, or you can choose to live from the stance of a champion.

Only you can make this decision, and it all starts with changing you perspective on life.

Don't strive to become something or someone else, but instead uncover the greatness that's already in YOU! While you are becoming more aware of the things about yourself that no longer serve you in a positive manner, or just doesn't work for you anymore; remember to recognize the attributes that you've gained or realized you've had all along that DOES serve you in a positive light.

Things to Remember:

  • the obstacles you have overcome

  • the lessons you have learned

  • the wisdom you have gained

  • the ways you have grown

  • the love you have received

  • the love you have given

  • the determination/motivation you have demonstrated

Give yourself patience and never forget to always speak kindly to yourself for getting this far.

Give equal time to what works for yourself; as each one of us is different, and what works for me might not always work for you.

Daily Reminders:

  • when you find yourself overthinking: write out your thoughts to visually see them in order to fully comprehend everything easier.

  • when you feel like you're getting anxious: get yourself moving; whether that means physically or mentally.

  • when you feel like you're getting tired: read something to awaken your mind.

  • when you feel confused: talk a walk to clear your head.

  • when you feel sad: treat yourself to something or work it out through exercise.

You need to start romanticizing your life!

You need to start believing that your morning commute is fun, and that every cup of coffee is the best you've ever had! You need to start believing that even the smallest and most mundane things are exciting and new!

When you start doing this; that's when you start truly living!

That's when you look forward to every day!

Give today, and this week your very best! Work hard and let your purpose drive you to take control of your thoughts and move with joy as you experience your life to the fullest!
